Iced Date Espresso Shake
Soft pitted dates give this coffee shake sweetness and a little body. The dates are blended into milk before coffee and ice are added, so the result is thicker than a clear syrup latte. A completely smooth texture is not guaranteed.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
Before your
next pour.
Very firm dates may not disperse well. Choose soft fruit rather than leaving dates soaking in milk at room temperature.
Do not blend hot espresso in a closed blender. This method keeps the coffee out of the blending step.
The date amount is a starting point, not a nutrition or low-sugar claim. No extra syrup is included in the measured version.

Can I prepare the finished drink far in advance?
Prepare appropriate components separately and keep perishables refrigerated. Assemble close to serving; ice, fruit texture, and any sparkling water change while the finished glass waits.
