What you’ll need
- 25 g soft pitted dates, checked for remaining pits
- 180 ml cold pasteurized milk
- A small pinch of ground cinnamon
- 80 g ice
Make it at home
- 01
Inspect and chop the pitted dates. Measure the cinnamon as a small pinch rather than a large dusting.
- 02
Put all measured ingredients except the ice in the blender. Blend according to its operating directions until as smooth as practical.
- 03
Put the measured ice in a 400–450 ml glass. Pour in the cold fruit milk, leaving room to stir.
- 04
Stir and serve immediately. Keep remaining perishable ingredients refrigerated rather than leaving them beside the blender.
